Digital Accessibility Statements
The Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No.2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 came into force on 23 September 2018. It aims to ensure public sector websites and mobile apps are accessible to all users, especially those with disabilities.
Consequently, an accessibility statement is required which clarifies the level of accessibility across the site or app, outlines any barriers, informs users of alternative routes to access and provides contact details to report any issues.
