Who We Work With

KAL have been working closely with the University of Huddersfield’s Health and Wellbeing academy on several projects over the last year. As a result of working with the University KAL have a robust evaluation framework in place, which aligns key health outcomes to service delivery. The team at the University have been key in advising and supporting the process KAL now has in place to demonstrate health impact and outcomes.

The launch of a joint PhD opportunity later in 2023 will further embed KAL’s credentials as a local health & wellbeing provider, as well as the partnership with the University, and will allow KAL to continue to develop and improve the health & wellbeing products they offer.

KAL have seen a fantastic uptake from KAL customers and non-customers engaging with the Universities “Get Set Goal” health checks service at KAL sites and are hopefully looking to expand the offer to other sites later this year.

KAL are keen to continue to build the partnership and work with the University as they progress their exciting Health and Wellbeing Academy approach.

We had a student led session on Stress Awareness with two of our groups. Our group members found it helpful and informative, and the students were good at engaging everyone in the conversation. We will definitely be booking sessions in the future.
